Japan was a different place in 2004. The first iPhone was 3 years away and even UA-cam had yet to debut in the world. Come join the adventures we had in 2004 with three handy cams and some microphones!

When will you upload some new adventures in Asia? 😖
Song name?
Geez, that's only ~$3.40 USD per gallon. I was sure Japanese gasoline was much more expensive than that (yes, I'm factoring in that it was 4 years ago)
God why are you all so creepy? I burned all my Japanese from zero books because this George guy is a total creep and it seems all his friends are as well. Left a bunch of negative reviews on Amazon too so people know that they’re buying books written by a total creep. He says in this video that he doesn’t fetishize Japanese women anymore but that’s a total lie.
He sounds like a young Saul Goodman
Come back man this channel was so good, with some of the best bilingual subtitling I've ever seen
I've known the owner of this place for many years, and he's a good guy. Before he relocated to Kyoto, his cafe was not far from where I lived, and I used to take the kids to learn more about reptiles. Unfortunately, keeping reptiles in small enclosures seems quite the norm in Japan. I've been to reptile shows here and enquired about keeping certain animals, only to be given terrible advice by the sellers. Unless you can afford to pay for a custom-built vivarium, there isn't much available for anything larger than a ball python. It's one reason I don't put more effort into breeding my animals -- I wouldn't want the offspring ending up in undersized enclosures.
The first time I went to a caricatures convention with the NCN now known as the ISCA I was in awe😮 of the Japanese caricatures artists. They were unbelievably disciplined, and dedicated to the art form what they created with things and approaches that I had never dreamed of. I thought. I had a great imagination until I saw the work they were spitting out. It was humbling, thought-provoking and exciting. I never forgot it. It influenced my style of caricatures from that day forward I am fortunate as an artist to have been a part of the MCM and that experience I will always treasure it, and thinking my friends, Kenly Dillard and Allison Gelbman for telling me about the organization. Kudos to\ TAD BARNEY MIKE HASSAN😂and KEELAN PARHAM For trusting me enough to hearing me out for The many jobs I did for them over the years. I’m no Longer Able to do my caricatures due to illness, but I’m so glad I got to follow my dream and meet so many wonderful people who are following there’s also
I remember first time I was drawn in an extreme way by a Japanese caricatures artist. When I saw the finished product, I literally ran screaming and laughing from the room. He went places that are American artist would never have gone for fear. A drawing a racist picture. But I knew the artist was not being racist at all that drawing became the basis for cartoons that I drew of myself from that day forward. I love Japanese caricatures artists Elgin, subway surfer, Bolling What are my great delights was after a convention some of them came to New York City and I wound up drawing with some Japanese artists on the subway. What a memory.
Nostalgic
sorry but ur getting only a dislike from me
日本語上手ですね
the opening is just perfect
Hope we get new videos soon
Have fun before you go home sounded very rude and racist really...

OMG its my sensei!!!!!!!!!!!
Did he make the jig himself or did he buy it like that? If he made it, could he share the plans or where he bought it?
I didn't realise you had this channel you do not promote it. also I don't like all these workshops start with the stock instead of letting you cut it. Making tea scoop is even worse because the stock has already been curved ect and all you do is profile and sand it. So all the videos online are incomplete and I have no way to get to the curved stock. At least this is more strait forward
Nice to see Gerorge wearing indian T-shirt having caption in hindi about indian god...かわい
Those chop sticks where really nice , your teacher was great showing everything . Amazing printing with the laser . 👍
What happened to this channel?? No more videos??
This is hilarious to watch. I understand a tiny bit right now because of pimsler's Japanese and I was looking down and immediately she asked if he was American and I was like wait a minute I know that sentence lol
Omg I was 3 that year
Here in germany we've got a few different types for bus tickets. Most common are the tickets you just buy with cash at the front of the bus, and you can then decide whether you only need it for a few hours or a whole day. You can also buy them in bulk and stamp them in little stamp machines in the bus, though that system is commonly abused. Of course there's also the usual ticket that lasts a month, costs vary depending on the city. Where I lived a few years ago it was around 70€, where I live now it's only around 40€.
I'm watching all the videos again for the third time, George先生 I expect you to like my comment, lol
Another awesome video! I'm curious about your traveling companions in this one - I thought maybe these were friends of yours but the way you parted ways at the end made me think they were like a host family or something? It's amazing how many different people you seem to hang out with in these videos that are "new friends" lol. Keep up the amazing work!
seeing the helper tools is also cool (th clamp block)
OK - I've been brushing up on my Japanese and planning my first trip there. On Reddit, subway/train issues seem to always be the #1 problem people have. I never understood it until now - thanks for the funniest 10 minutes I've watched on UA-cam in a long time, lol.
Love these videos so much. This is a long shot - but any chance you still know what that song was that was playing at the very end of the video? Thanks as always! EDIT: I found it at last: it's Ben Curtis - West Coast Dreams
8:09 cringe incoming
Holy fucking shit, I remember this era of weeb.
you gotta post more of these
it looks cool, but i see so many like this that I prefer what you and mike do. Mikes editing and filming is unique and it feels like I am there with you so i like it more.
Whoever hasn't subscribed to this channel yet really needs to reconsider there life choices
My boy gonna get fat eating all that food
The teach making people's days in English and Japanese everywhere he goes...love to see it!!
Them French guys must be banging their heads lmao
Yes Speed Racer in America.
The cicadas really are crazy loud. We have them in PA/NJ but they aren't nearly that loud. There pretty sparse, it seems like in Japan they're in large groups.
George, king of the dad jokes.
Man, $30 to throw beans so others can get good luck seems a bit steep.
Do they have police with radar detectors in Japan like the usa?
Lol so I'm not the only person that makes up stupid songs about how I have to pee to avoid peeing in my pants. Lol
Weird question but I'm very serious, did you hear a sound that resembled a cat's meow when you were there? Of course not coming from a real cat. Like a mascot that's a cat or something. There's this hint left in detective Conan and I think if we knew the answer behind the cat's noise we could have an answer.
日本語うまw👍
